Shall I Copare Thee to a Winter Night?

Contributed by Pook on Friday, 8th June 2012 @ 11:27:02 PM in AEST
Topic: LovePoetry

Shall I compare thee to a winter night?
Thine heart frostbit more solid than cold rocks!
Sometimes cold beaks and frees me from cold's bite.
And Heaven shines on powdered shining clocks.
Somtimes straight winds give way to gleaming warm,
And night will always give itself to day,
And never too long lasting is its storm.
Your everasting night is here to stay!
Always the same cold darkened bitter bit,
Bless Death that sings for thee to hence to bed
So deathly days by you can quickly quit.
Oh! Springtime cheers and laughs to have thee dead!
By snowflakes falling, happy days doth dare
Vile sight, that thee to winter nights compare.
