almost Defeated-but not quite

Dear father,
I find myself in this trial that is so strained to endure
But i know i will make it through for sure
I take two steps forward and often time’s 5 steps back again
I can’t wait for this trial to end
I don’t know what I’m doing wrong, i don’t understand what message I’m supposed to get
It’s been months and i still haven’t got it yet
Going around in circles making the same the same mistakes over again
Hurting and suffering within
Being underappreciated for what i do, like it’s my obligation not there’s
In the end it seems when it comes to me no one truly cares
Talked down to and disrespected like I’m Joe some on the street
Though I’m not defeated i I’m feeling beat
Down in a life that is continuing to pass me by
God why am i subjected to these kinds of trials, but i have no more tears to cry
I just simply laugh, cos it’s all i can do, i have nothing, I’m just a robot going through
Chaos and confusion constantly dear God please tell me what to do
As i wait here humbly and patiently for you

I wrote this because at that moment this is how i was feeling, almost but not quite
Defeated. Anybody that thinks they can do anything without God is a liar unto themselves
Though our fate remains the same the journey to complete Gods task he has set forth
For us changes constantly because of the decisions we make, we make the choice to make
The journey easy or difficult. Anyone who doesn’t believe that is a liar unto themselves
Each journey is different. But all predetermined
