I hold you back,
from things you want to do.
I make you think,
what could possibly ensue.
I stop you from doing,
things that you desire.
I try to stop you,
from playing with that fire.
I only want the best,
the very best for you.
But to my dismay,
you will do what you want to.
I have tried my hardest,
to help guide your way.
But sadly it's useless,
no matter what I say.
I can not sit and watch,
and see everything unfold.
Why you make these choices,
I simply can not behold.
But this I know is true,
yes, I can finally see.
You are far better off alone,
you are far better off without me.
