My Little Girl

MY LITTLE GIRL

You came into my life, on the first of May,
while capturing my heart in every way.
I stare in amazement as I watch you grow,
how you changed my life, amazes me so.
When you took your first steps, caught me by surprise,
and when you fell to the ground, brought tears to my eyes.
Your words are getting clearer with each passing day,
and when you said "I love you Daddy" took my breath away.
Your hair is getting longer and your eyes are turning more blue,
and you grow more beautiful, each time I look at you.
Oh how you've brightened my life, in every single way,
and I love you more then words could ever say.
My precious little girl, so sweet and so kind,
I wish you weren't, just a figure of my mind.
