At the beginning, I was falling
Upwards, and rising
Riding high, above the clouds
Yet falling
After time, the winds changed
My fall, a climb no more
But a descent
Yet still a fall
Bumps along the way
Would slow my tumble
Some even felt like the ground
Alas, but a moments rest
The falling continued
Longer down, than up
I wonder if the ground
I will ever reach
These bumps, like ledges
Sometimes I can hang on
Others I can't
I've got one now
My grip is strong
I hope it holds
So not to fall again
Again and again

Good read :)
Kept my attention, I do think that a couple of parts sound a tiny bit forced like "I wonder if the ground
I will ever reach" but otherwise I like it! |
