O God, would you be alive, do you exist
Show me some sign that I may know you
Would you be my absent father, or even,
My mother who cant seem to know me
Do I please you, tell me how
Show me how to get you to look at me
I cant seem to know how to live
Can you show me please, could you help me now
Yesterday I had them tear me to shreds
Love and Surprise both looked at me hard
Their voices were strangers’, not those I raised
And now I am back to being the orphan I was
Can you take me away, I cant seem to fit in
Would there be a place for me with you
Who fills up your heaven, would they have me
May I come in God, or would you have me orphaned too…
