The passion that is guilt between two creatures, is sometimes unexplainable.
For instance, take that of the princess and the saytr. Her love for him is so strong that she would rather give her life than not be with him.
A love so strong that we could only be in awe of such love.
The embrace between them is filled with such love.
As she stands with her back to him, she lays her head against his chest, caressing his face and neck.
Her eyes are closed in ecstacy.
She hopes that this will never end.
He holds her by the hips.
Her dress flowingly whisps around her body to reveal supple breasts and soft raven black hair.
His face is buried in her fragrant locks.
His eyes are closed hoping that thier love would go on forever, but knowing it can't because of the horrible curse that has befallen upon him.
Different than her. She's royalty and he, a lowly saytr.
He tries to break away from her in his mind, but can't.
Every muscle in his body trembles to let go, to leave.
His fingernails are sharp and draw blood as he digs into her soft flesh.
He can't let her go.
Would any of us ever feel what they feel?
I think not.
It must be the PASSION.

I have always felt like paintings and poetry would go well together. I have often wanted to pair a painting with a poem. One piece of art tells a feeling, two or more pieces tells a story. |
