I am a woman of the 21st century
Judged on my outer shell
No way in hell I am not being judged
On the way I move my hips
The color of my lips
The way my body is shaped
Whether my hair is curly or straight
The size of my jeans
Literally my outer genes
All this bull and hypocrisy makes me want to scream
We say we live in a modern society
But that's a lie you know it is
You never hear a guy call a shorty fly
Based on the score she got on her SAT
I am a woman of the 21st century
Hear my screams
I'm labeled as superficial
It's official
It's time for change
Stop calling Muslim woman oppressed just because
Of the way they dress
Because I'm sure they've got something to you
Sound the alarms
It's time for a reality check
Before we wreck the rest of the female population
It's time for honest contemplation
It's time for a true relationship with beauty
I'm talking in not out
Do I really have to shout
Does my honesty make you pout
Fake boobs
Fake hair
Fake nails
Fake everything everywhere
You still think your keeping it real?

there are two types of women within every woman.
The culturally programmed woman.
And the natural woman that's the woman right there at the core.
