think of all the children

Contributed by BabyJewels94 on Wednesday, 16th May 2012 @ 01:33:18 PM in AEST
Topic: FamilyPoems

my family is my faith
and my only harmony
this would be much easier
if they could only see.
the troubles we have been through
the tears that we have shed
all the great experiences
that are running through my head.
if we could all just get along
and think about what's right
think of all the little ones
that see you when you fight.
in their eyes, all they see
is anger and lost hope
all they ever wanted
was happiness to cope.
so take this opportunity
to look into the hearts
of all the little children
that suffer from the start
let us take this moment
and turn around their lives
with all the peace and happiness
on which their hearts all strive.

Your words brought the dreams of my hope back to life. If only, what a wondrous world we could give to our children. Thank you for the smile and the glimmer that children can believe again. Great write.

Poetry is much like a great photo, a single "moment in time" capturing many feelings and emotions. Yet, they are very alive; creating stirrings within the readers who form visual "pictures" of the expressed emotions within the Poem. ©
