Can eyes see the world In the same shade of light? Our eyes don't meet In equal places But if we put your sight And my sight Together Would it be miraculous? Or disastrous? Enthralled by your being
Engaged by your presence Enriched by your words Pressing to me like gravity
It's a puzzling thought, But I want to peer into your heart and soul And find pieces of myself So I can connect with you And be able to find you whenever My eyes are closed And whenever our eyes don't see the world In the same shade of light When our eyes don't meet In equal places
