Bring to the world the sound of cathedral bells to ring out your words,
While you hold the triangle to muffle the voice of reply.
Bring to the world the thousand voice choirs to resonate your thoughts,
While stuffing hankies in the mouths of those not singing
Your praises!
Bring to the world the vuvuzela to fill stadiums with your ideas,
Whilst silencing those who may quietly contradict..
Bring to the world the clash of symbols as you deafen bent ears lest
They dare to not hear,
While you ignore the conductor who brings unity through discipline.
Bring to the world the endless manuscripts, perfectly penned pontification
While you snatch the crayon from a child’s heartfelt letter to his mother.
Bring to the world a peacock dance of proud stiff necked arrival,
While ignoring all you learn from humility.
Bring to the world the empty page, the border for a one way mirror.
Whilst ignoring an epidemic of insomnia.
Bring to the world!
Bring to the world?
Don’t bring to the world.

Hi Anna,
''Blowing one's trumpet without reading
the music'' I think is your theme here. There's
certainly no shortage of qualifiers out there,
in that regard.
Nicely scripted and right in the jugular.
