They ride to find the perfect symbol
Of which their faith does most resemble
Hiding in the eyes of their keeper
The hills they climb will grow much steeper
While the will of the wolf does not grow weaker
They clasp onto the word they cannot define
While one teacher falls out with Time
The symbol is etched into a stone
For all of its wearers' disdain to atone
When we lose the symbol
Will we also lose its meaning?
Light travels and the air gets thinner
I'm alive but in search of dreaming
The symbol will leave us all screaming
Most of us remain in search of dreaming

Lee, this poem is like a lot of things everywhere that maybe belong or don't, or nobody knows why, or they don't point out,
just like maybe, what is precisely on so many folks minds, because they just don't seem to have it it them. And yet, they all still count on whatever it is.
This is really a skillfully written poem. Extremely thought provoking, since there are so many symbols. Things we take for granted that tell us something we don't seem to know but should; as well as, the things that, like dictators of our own device, drive us away from ,,, I dunno, we can't even say I guess.
Thanks!!! Truly, you do have talent, for whatever it's worth to you, from me to say. Peace!
