If you could see what you have done
you've made the strongest of desire
you've taken down a wall
& set this heart on fire

I felt your heart through sad times
I felt the need to be around
you're just so very precious
I could never let you down

you've become my inspiration
just look at all I write
I'll do my best to keep you
& hold you with all my might

your eye's your lips your pretty smile
they're all my heart can see
so I give my heart to you
to be the best that it can be

so put it in your pocket
take it everywhere you go
don't forget you've got it
for it really needs you so
the hot shot poet
