I could do it.
I could make him seem so awful.
I could point out everything he does wrong.
I could talk about how I would treat her better.
I could tell her ending it with him is the best option.
I could end it myself.
I could, I could, I could, I could...
So why don't I?
Why do I act as his alibi?
Stand up for him
Giving him the benefit of the doubt
Tell her he's good for her
Why am I helping this guy out?
I want her love, with all my might
But instead of pointing the gun at him
I've got myself in the sites.
