Surrounded by an unloving place
Trying to escape with no hope
Feeling lost and broken
The hand of an angel extends to your reach
Picking you up and holding you close
Making sure everything will be alright
These angels are hidden until needed
Keeping a close eye for any danger
They re the savior to many
For who I speak of is no ordinary angel
She is simple and pure to the bone
Caring beyond any other
She has a smile that could lift anyone's spirits
I couldn't have asked for any other friend
She wouldn't back down if forced
She has helped many with her loving heart
She is as pure as gold, shining above others
She will always be important to many
This wonderful woman was my angel
A savior in my darkest hour
I thank her with all my heart.
