Lord, Father I have been trying to get the words out,
But, they always seem to escape,
Don’t know what it is that I’m filled with,
Hate?
Not sure it just seems like I cant wait,
For your sweet embrace.
Where I don’t hurt and life doesn’t bring me down.
I’ve asked and I felt Like I didn’t receive an answer…
I sought and found nothing,
I knocked and no one answered…
Perhaps it’s my pride that held back my heart from you.
You are my life,
You are my way,
And this I know is true.
That no one comes to father but by you.
Unconditional the way you love us.
Our guiding light In a world so dark…
My redeemer,
My salvation,
My refuge.
