Oh wicked tide of procrastination
preventing what may and ought to occur
Locking said victim in sea of incompleteness
in its depths containing what might have been
Lift this haze I say
and accomplish accomplishments
in a new light of amazing finish
Writers block forever banished
and free flowing rivers
fill tributaries with immaculate prose
I am failure personified
as defined by said I
never realizing completion
like the May fly born in July
In the end it does not matter
voices remind
Hallucinations of grandeur
mimic the intoxicating nature of mother earth

| Definitely relatable, deviates a bit from the primary topic on the last 4 lines. Otherwise I like your metaphors especially "Free flowing rivers" - a very effective visual metaphor. |
