If I Could Love But Once

If I could love but once
I would let my eyes
Sing the words of you

If I could touch your hand
I would let your beauty
Catch the sunlit leaves

If I could hold you in my arms
I would let the wind
Turn the world around

If I could kiss your lips
I would let my heart be whole
And never cry again
