EmotionalPoetry
|
a distance away and never getting closer,
traced outline of a fallen hero,
road signs all look the same,
faces worn and sunken in,
searching for a shoulder to lean on,
searching for a light in the dark,
staring at the sunset through black clouds,
flying high on wings of lead,
crashing to the ground like a leaf in the wind,
all the thoughts stick together,
all the memories flash back once more,
forgotten like something you try to remember,
the choir sings the floor creaks,
this notebook full of emptyness.
