happiness carver

Contributed by samermaged95 on Monday, 30th April 2012 @ 05:54:10 AM in AEST
Topic: Grief

Hello life it's me your biggest hater
I got to admit that you serve agony like a professional waiter
You abound with suffering that may break me down sooner or later
Cuz you're a back stabbing traitor an ambush creator

Yeah I scream from pain
And my strength fade in vain
Yeah I cry and tears fall as if it's rain
That grows my failure's grain

Fake wall of humor I've constructed
Buried my self beneath it and neglected
My internal sadness that to it I was convicted
And every day my feelings inside me get conflicted

But here I am standing alone each day
Ignoring what people say
Carving my own happines way
So know that no matter what you do I won't be an easy prey

Nice... I love that line " You serve agony like a professional waiter." I gotta use that... it reminds me of some people I use to know. I'm a metalhead so I'm reminded of the old Sabbath song , Never Say Die. Great poem , made me smile and laugh. Happiness is a choice , not a condition. I learned that some time back. Truly , Doug
