Woulda, coulda, shoulda
Hindsight is 20/20 vision
Sayings used to explain away
The path your life has taken

If you could see what lie ahead
By what had happened before
Would you say the words you said
Or turn and walk out the door

It's easy to spend the wasted time
Going over and over the same frame
Analyzing in a state of rewind
Wondering why you lost the game

Many is the seconds I wiled away
Trying to find that little tiny clue
I've dreamt through so many days
To understand the unknown you

Guess it's time to give up the fight
I'll never make sense of our past
Doesn't matter who's wrong or right
I'll own my part in this life at last

I really like this! And it's so true as well! :)

While every care is taken to ensure the general sites content is family safe, our moderators cannot be in all places; all the time. Please report poetry and or comments that are in breach of our site rules HERE (Please include poem title or url). Parents also please ensure that you supervise your children well when they are on the internet; regardless of what a site says about being, or being considered, child-safe.

Poetry is much like a great photo, a single "moment in time" capturing many feelings and emotions. Yet, they are very alive; creating stirrings within the readers who form visual "pictures" of the expressed emotions within the Poem. ©
