Thinking Back-----
Thinking back to yesterday there came an unexpected tear
,just why it came was so uncertain soon became so clear.
someone was missing in my life who meant the world to me,
why years have passed by and things are not the same you see.
Unexpected tears come on suddenly like raindrops from the sky,
but I know someday we shall meet again in the sweet by and by.
Dad, you taught me to be kind and caring and live for the Lord.
and to miss out on heaven blessing we'll this I could not aford
I still remember the words you said, I hope to see all my family there,
up in that beautiful land reunited again in the land so bright and fair.

It's nice to find a rhyming pattern that does not seem forced. Very good, with a great deal of meaning,
I've been there many times over the long years.
