I Love You, Mom!

My mother has a super power,
I’ll tell you what it is,
She has the power to do everything
And do it in a whiz.
She works part time during the day.
Who knows what she does at night,
But sit there doing puzzles
Until the day is bright.
And every other Sunday
She opens up her home.
Five hundred men, two hundred women,
And one thousand children come.
And when I scream and shout
And when I want to tear off her head,
She looks at me with that one look,
And makes me clean instead.
She washes all the dishes
And cleans the house (sometimes!)
Yet she’s always kind and patient
And only complains at times.
So...
Mom, when you love me,
And even when you don’t,
By giving all your safety pins
to someone you barely know,
I want you to remember
from your head down to your shoes,
That I always, always, always, always,
Always will love you.

Hi,
A touching tribute to a lady who could fit the
fold for many mothers.
Nice one!
