Hope for Love

Hope for Love: The veil covering the vast blackness at my feet was as void as the place love held in my heart and had no remnant of past joys but only a sad longing to be full again, it trembled at my touch a single cry resounding from within shattered the veil as though it were glass, a single light gleaned from it's dark depths, I fell toward it as I had been pulled down by the hands of loneliness and I saw the light as a glowing gem stone, I reached for it to be pulled back by the void, I fought toward it as though it were hope for new love, I put it in my hand embracing it to see the light shine throughout the darkness filling my heart with the hope for love to be in it once more.
