As I recall some old memories
& the things that we've been threw
I only know to wish you well
That's all I know to do
you & I we have a history
of many precious years
the memories cannot be replaced
the laughter or the tears
we've traveled down some Rocky roads
& found dead ends along the way
but we always seem to make it threw
back to the main Highway
their are so many things
I'd do different if I could
Like the many things that I've done
Not knowing if I should
But the past cannot be changed
It can't be taken back
the only thing that can be done
Is put it on another track
the hot shot poet
