Will You Hold Me Close?

Contributed by ShaeBay on Friday, 20th April 2012 @ 11:10:49 AM in AEST
Topic: LovePoetry

She gazes up at him with an intimate smile.
The warmth of their love wrapped around the whole room.
Bodies pressed against each other, so perfectly.
She wraps herself around his chest pleading,
Pleading with her beckoning hazel eyes.
Begging him to stay so she's not alone.
Her smile fades and she looks away.
He gathers her up in one swift motion.
Gazes at her with his loving smile.
He entwines his fingers with hers.
Gently kissing her forehead.
He makes a promise, one not to be forgotten.
That night he made the oath,
To be her only love, for this is true.
She kisses him gently and smiles.
For all she ever wanted,
Was for him to hold her close.
Always and Forever.

For all she ever wanted was for him to hold her close.........pivotal line in the expression of the meaning of love to a woman.when the heart is on fire then the reader cannot help but warm their hands and smile with the recognition of a pouring of the heart.Lovely writing.
