We ,
Vampyr... ,
wicked teeth ,
watch from shadow
of whispering woods.
Drawn close , closer Cherie
Ears caressed ; venomous words.
Embrace ; wrap you in shadow webs ,
drink from rivers of blood-veined desire ,
leave you cold... cold in beds... beds of autumn leaves.
Dead..
Above
the cold moon
swimming in stars.
Your eyes are white orbs
staring far , seeing naught
but cold , eternal shadow.
No! Such beauty given to ruin?
Come back my love. I see that you are
far to exquisite , to lovely for death.

one word - exquisite
Dark, beautiful, haunting and yes, romantic. I know
I'm sounding like a broken record here, but you have such
skill and aplomb when it comes to writes like these. And
I find it so completely inspiring. If I can ever muster the
imagination and nerve, I might try my hand at something
like this. ;)
