Rivers and earth quakes.
The rhythmic shakes.
I hear water rushing to meet me.
Red I do see.
In this moment I cherish,
the sweet memories I relish.
I hold on strong,
Hoping the timing is wrong.
That I shall be here ever so longer,
Today becoming stronger.
The waves crash,
and I lash.
I fight for my life,
in this endless strife.
My life flashing before me,
no longer danger I see.
I fly past the perilous moment.
Wondering where I am, not this opponent.
I see the old me washed and drained.
A breath I see is claimed.
This fight is not my last.
It's all over and I fly fast.
My moment of fight
Has won over right.
Here and now is where I am, but how?
The past is gone, the present now.
The future shall come for me.
I roll over and pray thankfully...
