To those of you who don't know me
I'm not plainly what you see

To those of you close to me
You should just let me be

If you knew me, you would hate me
If you could read minds you'd send me away

Why do you think I never have much to say?
I fear that if I were to speak my mind

That in time everyone would part ways
Leaving me all alone fighting the sadness away

To those of you who know me
Proceed with caution

To those of you who know me
Be afraid run away like you always do

And just

I can definitely relate... Good write

Please report poetry and or comments that are in breach of our site rules HERE (Please include poem title or url). Parents also please ensure that you supervise your children well when they are on the internet; regardless of what a site says about being, or being considered, child-safe.

Poetry is much like a great photo, a single "moment in time" capturing many feelings and emotions. Yet, they are very alive; creating stirrings within the readers who form visual "pictures" of the expressed emotions within the Poem. ©
