Shameful the way you made me feel,
That day you left, my heart split in two,
Treated like a toy, a fool.
You said you had enough and you were through.
My emotions were never taken serious,
I expressed to you how I felt…
A simple nod then a laugh.
Showing no emotion.
I poured every ounce of me including my soul,
And all you could do was turn around and giggle.
Not one small fraction of emotion…
All I was looking for was just a little.
Crazy to think…
To think that It would last forever.
I hung on to every word.
I set my life aside and put your’s first.
Handling your emotions carefully,
Fragile, delicate…precious like an 18th century masterpiece.
Still you couldn’t see.
That the man you were searching for,
Was no other than me.
I suppose I was wrong,
A kiss, A glance, a simple gesture…
Misinterpreted for something I thought we had.
Something bigger than us…,something called LOVE.
