Sometimes it feels better
To look with closed eyes
Just for the experience
Just to forget the lies.
But someday you know
That what you did was wrong
You should've opened them
They would have made you strong.
And when you want those friends back
That is when you realise
That it truly felt better
To look with closed eyes.
When the backstabbing starts
Oh! It only makes you cry
And you pray to god
But he only waves goodbye.
That is when you feel
That you alone can't suffice
Wasn't it better to
Look with closed eyes?
