I have a friend, Jollynoblefrog.
We shook hands one day in the park.
Then warts broke out all over me.
I have to scrape them off with tree bark.
I eat a feast just once a year.
This year we had a beautiful turkey.
In order to remember how special it was,
I went and renamed it sweet Burkey!
Mack The Knife misplaced his blade
And put a spoon inside of his pocket.
Who does he think he could stab with that?
You won’t find him on any court docket.
Where does a nudist carry his pocket watch?
And who would ask “What is the time?”
I really don’t want to know bad enough,
Another day, another place, another rhyme.
A rose is a fragrant gorgeous flower.
It could also be a girl with wide hips.
Unless of course she gives up potato’s,
And eats only unbuttered parsnips.
A cow is allergic to goats milk.
But has no trouble eating Feta cheese.
First he will suck on a jar of Greek olives,
And never once does he even say please.
Just one more day, just one more day.
After summer vacation all school children say.
You must go to school, you must go to school.
All parents will say, they are worn out from you.
A man should admit his limitations,
Unless he’s a poet like me.
I never know when just to shut up.
If you wish it then I’ll say “We’ll see!”
