My gentle gracious Lady Nymph,
I beseech thee, to lay my weary head upon thine warm and loving bosom.
So to spend quiet simple hours, among meadow flowers, and singing birds.
Far from speeding cars and unkind words.
Lay me at rest for a tender while.
Near crystal streams and willow trees, to dream my dreams while time doth freeze.
Prithee, lay me far from wall and stile.
Let flashing blue, be halcyon led.
The scent of you, fill my head.
My truth unfurl and limbs entwirl, around you Hazel tree.
May this walled in heart, just fall apart.
And pure love flow, with molten glow.
Forever lost in your lucent emerald shine.
My dearest darling Lady Nymph,
I pray that under willow trees, this very eve,
our tendril'd hearts, doth entwine.

Oh My Dearest. . .
Why do we pour our heart & soul into a love so out of reach. . . could it be that breath so tender as you possess cannot bear iniquity, cannot bear such splendid bliss to linger. . . thus loss is always a breath away. There is nothing in this world to complete us & ultimately everything mortal fades away. The test of love is always before us: can we love & yet release. . . can we offer all we suffer to the ones that care the least. . . can we love another from a distance. . . can we meet ourselves in them. . . we surely want that earthly surrender & through pain of loss & joy of truth, we never want to see it end but sometimes gravity causes us to surrender, sometimes it feels that love was somehow ill spent. Yet love expands our boundaries & narrows our focus, so that we cannot see around the nearest bend. Hold on to hope & love & just surrender. Love loves best that has no end.
Hugs & smiles~ elle |
