THE FLOWERING EARTH

He maketh me lie in orange pastures,
Where to my right are purple and blue.
A world where rainbows color the flowers.
This glorious gift God gives you!
He prepares a table before me,
Adorned with Roses bright red with dark hue.
Yellow buttercups and white lilies have joined them.
With grape vines still adorned with dark blue.
A banquet in honor of the harvest.
The flowers are simply honored guests.
My favorites are what is set before me.
In beauty each one passes the test.

This is really good, I might be in over my head here.
I only ever write when I'm inspired and was finally told to share my poems with others. I'd like to read your other stuff, as well. |
