There Are 2 Places In This World: 1st Place & No Place

Contributed by Blackheart on Sunday, 8th April 2012 @ 05:22:34 PM in AEST
Topic: oops

No one remembers the person who finished second
So if you finish second you finish last
A runner-up is a 1st place loser
Who stares at the crowd surrounding the winner, winner's circle
And you feel like all your hard work has gotten you nowhere
You're just standing there as if you actually are in the middle of nowhere
That's why 2nd place is called No place

The winner smiles at you
Says, "You're one hell of an opponent"
But certainly won't remember your face
Quite honestly, the minute they walks away
They never met you
Or even heard of you
That's how a winner's mentality is
Either they take it all
Or leave with nothing
First place has everything
From the title itself to bragging rights
From the money to the women to the fame
But second place...
All there is...
Is the title
But it isn't as prestigious as first
Even worse
It goes to show that even your ALL wasn't enough
So you win nothing...

Now you know
1st place is the Only place
2nd place is Last place
And last place= is No place

you have the highest of goals {for running a
race?} this shows you are competitive by nature,
and won't be satisfied until you take the blue
ribbon, the mark of a true champion! imo,

hugs n' love nessa
