Words that could have been don’t let me die
Lost inside, an adult with a child’s face
Potential keeps me alive
I will cry tomorrow

Sometimes feelings are too strong for the words to contain them. Good write - let the words take you where they must - life is the life. Thank you for sharing. |

You say this is your first poem and yet you pack so much raw emotion into so few words. Cry today, forget tomorrow. You can only change your world in the moment. This moment. You have the ability to write excellent poetry. That much is obvious.
Do you have the courage though? |
