Hands so tiny, skin so soft
Holding you safe in my arms
Envisioning a future so far off
Enthralled by all your charms
Guiding you through life day by years
Watching you master each amazing feat
Shielding your heart and soul from all fears
Pictures grace my mind's wall so sweet
Off to school, knowledge gained yearly
Cap and gown, new car, college bound
Lovers come, go; now one holds you dearly
White gown, tuxedo, rings, life finally found
Ten tiny toes, my heart, love you charm
New life to watch, new dreams to share
Grandmother duties welcome in my open arms
Future to show, stories to tell, my little heir
