BROKEN WING BLUES

Five AM Sunday
April fools not
Getting the Texas daughter to her airplane
Fifty miles above
Pumping gas, 40 dollar trip
Falling
Cursing
Breaking bad
Breaking funny
It was a humerus moment
Poet with a busted wing
Emergency room x rays narco
Hairline breakfast
Damn Sling
Damn Vicadin
Damn its hard getting old
