One more poem dedicated to Dominic Bruce Fortunato ♥ R.I.P. buddy

Dominic

Dear Dominic, how are you?
I miss you greatly, but nothing new.
Everyday, I drive by,
Wishing you, could just say hi.
As I pass, comes the Sign of the Cross,
But that'll never, take away my loss.

It is hard not to shed a tear,
But in my heart I know you're here.
Because of you I have no fear,
You're not alone buddy, I am near.
Everytime, I see your jersey,
It makes me feel, just that more worthy.

To this day I pray to you,
That one day you step from that blue.
The sky is your home, but that aint you.
Come on down kid, you are due.
I write this poem in memory,
For a kid as tough as emery.

My emotions have been kept inside,
If only it were me, instead of you, that died.
Things will be okay.
I lied,
If they were, why must I hide.

I considered you my little brother,
Or a friend, who was like no other.
I will stop using the word WAS,
Because that's not something a brother does,
Sometimes I ask, why so young,
But then I realized, when that bell rung.
The Lord needed a great new son.
I realized what is done, is done.
But I wont leave till my heart bleeds none.
