Battle On

We live to battle, battling though our existence.
battling for survival, with such persistence.
We battle for freedom and sometimes love.
We battle for those people we think the world of.

And when we are winning, we parade such glee.
when we are winning we want the world to see.
Fire in our hearts, pumped with determination.
Adrenaline is flowing, what a powerful combination.

But sometimes we lose, our souls get crushed.
lose all hope our dreams get flushed.
Life is now the enemy, fighting a war that cannot be won.
Battling seemed a watse of time, give up, your finished, your done.

But I say you battle on my fellow soldiers as those cuts and bruises will heal.
we all break at one point, we are only human not made of steel.
Battle on you wonderful beings, battle with courage and glory.
Inspire your fellow soldiers, no-one is alone, come and share your story.
