The harder I try, the harder I fall
This pain I endure, is it worth it at all ?
You're happy free, all that you want
Yet I stick with this *****, cause I think you're the one
I listen to lies and ignore the clear truth
Cause I want to believe there is something more for me and you
I was out before and you pulled me back in
I can't believe I bought into your grin
But you don't need me and its crystal clear now
I'm leaving for good, I'm taking a bow !

| I know the feeling of you making all the effort, which is not returned. Its common in relationships. Very well written. Sometimes, you should stop and think, is the person worth the wait and effort. If not, then its time to move on. Very good poem |
