if I had three wishes,
& I knew they would come true,
the first thing I would wish for,
is to simply be with you,
the second wish that I would make,
is that I could be free,
from this federal prison,
that has it's chains on me,
the third thing I would wish for,
is what dreams are all made of,
smiling at my future,
& holding my true love,
I do not ask for riches,
or fame that would be so nice,
what I want is as practical,
as giving good advise,
it's simple & it's good,
I feel it's meant to be.
it's the way that I relate
it's how I'm being me
