As startled as one may be,
I see my enchanter pass by me.
His eyes deep, but yet so blank,
To the pain that haunts me from inside.
Confusion haunts me bit by bit,
That I cannot find my escape
To fear of loss, to Pain in my heart-
Everything is unknown to him.
As he sits there,
His head resting on his palm,
Always indulged in something else,
But yet feeling nothing, but his life.
How come did I let my heart fall
Back out of my grip.
I let my heart escape,
And seeing it shudder bit by bit.
A dark dull force,
Growing deep inside my soul.
A void so great,
The world drags on.
How is it that he’s blind
Towards the way I feel right now?
The pain increasing every time,
Eating away my strength to fight.
For all I know if that I feel
For this Enchanter in my life.
And even though my strength is running out,
I will fight until I die...

It's hard to get people to see the struggles others face. I know a lot of people can relate to this. Very well written poem. Your wording flows nicely. |
