~ * ~
Life is round-
it revolves
and you have fostered charm
with every circle I spin
My breath, no longer my own,
spills out in heated evolution
Each star falls at your command
spreading diamond dust into my bed
I sleep in the glistenings
of your commission
Dreams hold you through my night
slipping away into the naked morning
(but you remain)
you cling to morning’s thought
and I cannot lose you to the day
(always a memory away)
Your moments shine
and when held in mine,
you collide
stripping me of fear
as I settle in the circles of your world

Won't pretend to know what this means but I can say what it reminds me of. Sorta reminds me of a dream and reminiscing within our deep thoughts...to ourselves. Memories are cool...at least the ones written about here.
Glad to see you were able to make it here. Yayness fills me. YAY!!!

Hi Breezy,
What a delightful way to start my morning!!
Your words transcend & float back to rest in the subtlest corners of ones being.
I feel very blessed to have ventured anywhere near your verse & meaning.
The wonder of my day is now complete & it's only 8:45 am.
Thank you so. . .
elle :)

Hi Breezy,
There are many on this site whose work is
both commendable and commentable - but
only a handful produce compositions that are
beyond the reach of all commendation and
commentary. Glowing superlatives abound,
but none could do this magical emotional
piece of pure poetry any justice.
But let me try ........ Breathless!!

This connection you speak of here is a rare, and special find. To lose something so precious can be unbearable in moments, and you voice that feeling very well. Dreams and who/what we experience while deep in slumber can be a magical place that is downright miserable to leave. This write is raw with emotion, and melancholy in all the right ways. I love it.
