Both Worlds

I have been to both worlds,
sat in empty church basements,
and on bejeweled bar stools.
I have felt content in both.
Bewildered by both.
Alone is the medium,
alone and one,
alone with truth.
I have been to both worlds,
that of politics and paper money,
and that of park benches and paper bags.
I have wanted both.
I have loved neither.
Alone is the medium,
alone and one,
alone with truth.

Oh, how wonderful this is!!
You have no idea how this speaks to me. You've captured the
very essence of emotion between the worlds and how we long
for the balance of both. Neither satisfying, but neither quite
unsatisfying either. Amazing stuff here. Really enjoyed reading.
