2012 HITLERS OLYMPICS

Contributed by alicewhite on Saturday, 31st March 2012 @ 05:53:23 PM in AEST
Topic: news

This year the games are held on greener lands
where kings and queens stand
are we to be witness to history made
or victims of histories
visionary plans made

oh yes i may be out of my mind but
what if my mind is out of this world
then heed you my warning of things yet untold

i cant stop the things that lay down in my sight
however i resist with all of my might
i as nostradamus lay down my life
for life of the many and how they do strive

I AM if you understand
I TELL YOU I AM
the path of the righteous
thats where i do stand

open your mouthes now
your voices and hearts
and sing atop mountains
alongside the harps.

What ever you beleive
no matter in the end
friend foal or folly
Gods message i send

111 111 111
the games
have begun.

I AM IF YOU UNDERSTAND
LIGHT OF THE LAND
AND LIGHT OF INFINITY
TRUE LIGHT
OF MAN

KIND ARE WE ALL THAT CAN SEE
ALL WE CAN SEE IS IN YOU AND ME

SHINE YOUR LIGHT BRIGHT NOW
FOR EVERYONE TO SEE
LETS CHANGE THOSE PLANS
CREATE OUR OWN HISTORY

NO MORE SLAVES
ALL NOW SET FREE
JUST AS OUR TRUE GOD
MEANT US ALL TO BE.

111 PURE LIGHT SHINE SERENITY
PEACE.

Yes I think of Hitler, coming from the generation that fought against such darkness. Or perhaps maybe the one before that, got a picture of my grandfather who immigrated from Ireland, who fought in WWI as an American. He was tall and lanky standing in a doorway with a sad grin on his face.
Jesse Owens, a black American athlete, can you imagine, made Hitler look so very bad.
There is no master race, there is no master human race. Why, even the Greek were wrong. The empires all emperors were not really of blue blood. The pope is just a man and not a woman. We were all born to maybe too reckless with time. But no not them. To aspire to, to be something grand, to lead past vanity, but never past humanity.
Winston Churchill was half-American. Valiant in his youth.
He looked into the camera I think, as evidence of all before his time. He knew, we knew, those who lived back then, were all from same stock. As a young man I wanted to run someday in the Olympics. I don't know why that is. The world is full of people just like us all. For the most part most of them are good.
Alice, I'm going through some of your poems trying to get their meaning. Why this one last March? Why 1936?
I'm guessing you're from my generation? My dad and mom never much talked about their experiences of living through those days. Just a suggestion here or there. I've got letters my dad saved. He was a marine. I know the great war changed who he ended up being. I think it stole a whole big chunk of him too.

Peace!
