What do you say to someone with nothing more to lose?
What words would you choose?
Cause one day they may wake up and decide
That they have nothing left to hide
Maybe one day they show you all their sorrow
Show you that they are hollow
What do you say to someone with nothing more to lose?
Have you found those words you want to use?
We're at a loss of time.
If nothing is coming to your mind.
I'll tell you what you say to someone with nothing more to lose
A hollow soul they will be and you will wonder why
But the only word you can say will be
Goodbye

there is great sadness in this, and a slight discontent.
It is indeed, frustrating waiting for words that never come.
Unfortunately, some just do not get it. They miss the signs and
signals. Hard for those of us who have a difficult time voicing
our needs and wants.
Very thought provoking write. Well done.
