Your embrace used to be comforting
but now i run and hide
you cheated me out of love
spun me out of control
no more
you are not going to do it again, leave me lying there alone
im rocking back and forth
tears streaming down my cheeks
and why
because my heart is broken
you just threw it away
used it to get where you wanted to go
at one time you were different
but then you got what you wanted
so you left
dont trash talk me to your friends
dont brag about what you got
what you got now means nothing, i wish i could take it back
you left me in the dark
maybe soon ill see the light
