ALIENS CLONED ME

i haven't been feeling myself of late
sometimes i sense an altered state
i don't think it was something i ate
because the way i feel is actually great

i have an idea of what it may be
i have a notion that aliens cloned me
and that's why i've been so damn happy
instead of my old self, just hella grumpy

if i could, i'd like to shake those alien's hands
do they even have hands?
i owe them at least that i understand
funny, i never saw them land

well, i should be getting on with my day
i wonder if they threw the old me away?
i hope that this me gets to be the one to stay
i didn't much like me before the aliens came anyway

really, i need to be going
there's so much to do since my recent cloning
this new life isn't waiting, nor is it slowing
thank you aliens! thank you for showing...

cool and very smart, really neat and concise ,takes you on a journey through the mind of someone trying to make sense of themselves sometimes in irational ways , self acceptance is empowering ,when people dont look within for answers they go crazy looking outside and then aliens seems like a less frightening idea to them, really loved it this very clever
