I Sit Alone And Question Why?
I sit alone and question why?
The sleep that people have – not I;
My mind just seems to wander now
But tired am I so wonder how?
Is it because I feel some pain –
Some ache that troubles me again?
Or does the darkness trouble I?
If be the case I would but sigh;
But sadness not lies in my heart
We both are near not far apart;
No trouble lies between us two
Is strong and true my love for you.
So I will question why again -
Please answer Lord and keep me sane.
